 | Name: Rick Williams Position: Senior Pastor Bio: I was born in Ashland, Kentucky in 1957 and moved to Columbus, OH in 1967. I trusted Christ as my personal Savior in May, 1980. Lisa and I were married in October of that year and together we have three daughters. I received God’s call on my life to full time ministry while serving as a deacon and Sunday School director at Westgate Baptist Church in 1987. I graduated from Boyce Bible College in 1992 and Circleville Bible College in 2002. I have had the privilege of being the pastor at Violet Baptist Church since October 1996. I attended Christian school from K - 12 and then graduated BA in Bible from Cedarville University in 1997. While at Cedarville, I was a member of the Cedarville Township Volunteer Fire Department where I served as chaplain, captain, training officer, and am now an Honorary Member. I married my wife Sarah on March 10, 2001. Purpose: To glorify God in all I do. Denying myself daily, having a radical faith in Him that through my life others would see >HIM<. | Name: Keith Hurt Position: Associate Pastor of Life Development Bio: I grew up in Reynoldsburg. I became a Christian as a senior in high school. I attended Cedarville College, where I met my wife Debbie. I worked for 16 years with the Franklin County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. My wife and I worked with the youth group at East Side Grace Brethren Church for over 11 years before coming to Violet Baptist. Purpose: To lead a team of godly adults who strive to live out a genuine faith in Christ as they love students and challenge them to grow in their walk with the Lord.
